Gua Sha • Apricot
Ochre’s new ceramic Gua Sha, beautifully shaped to help you massage into the curves of your face. Glazed to create a lovely smooth surface to press against your skin. Traditionally the instrument used for Gua Sha was a Chinese ceramic soup spoon or an animal bone.
Gua Sha involves repeated pressed strokes with a smooth-edged, blunt instrument, skin is lubricated with massage oil. As well as promoting lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha massages can help to improve circulation, resulting in a brighter complexion as toxins are shifted and cleared from the body.
