Private Workshops

Ochre offers both Pottery and Jewellery Private Group Workshops.

Ochre’s Private Group Pottery or Jewellery Classes are the perfect birthday celebration, hens party, work event, or an excuse of an extra special catch up. Learn the skills and techniques to hand make your very own pieces (pottery or jewellery) to treasure forever. Perfect for all skill levels.

Minimum booking 8 people, no maximum.

  • Lauren can either come to you, or you can come to her BEAUTIFUL studio in Mullumbimby, Northern Rivers NSW.

    Lauren’s stunning, light filled studio is located in Mullumbimby (15 mins from Byron Bay) and she will have everything set up for you. Or Lauren can come to you, with everything to run a beautiful 2 hour workshop inc. trestle tables if needed. (Price subject to change if a venue cost or travel needs to be added to the price)

  • Includes making up to 3 pieces, glazed and fired (Pottery) or 2-3 pieces of jewellery.

  • Pottery

    I can tailor to all skill types, and will make sure you are able to grow your ‘new’ or ‘practiced’ hand building pottery skills. You will be taught hand building basics… How to make a pinch pot, how to coil with clay, attach handles, legs etc. and how to make sure your pieces won’t blow up in the kiln! I promise you’ll leave having created three beautiful pieces, anything from a mug to a vase, a bowl to a platter! It is up to you to let your imagination take over.

    Jewellery

    You will be taught jewellery basics… How to make findings, string, wire + attach. And don’t worry, I will be helping with design and assembling each of your pieces. You will have access to a beautiful collection of pearls, handmade ceramic beads, colourful glass beads + high quality gold filled and sterling silver silver jewellery findings. Everything you need to create anything from earrings, bracelets, necklaces… ect.
