For the small rituals that make the day feel like yours. The Muse Dish is a shallow hand-built ceramic dish with a small hole at the centre, made to hold an incense stick and catch the ash as it falls — the kind of slow, quiet thing that asks you to stop for a moment. It works just as well as a jewellery dish or a bedside catch-all. Carved from sandy Australian stoneware with a figure drawn freehand into the clay, each one is a little different. Something to muse over.

  • Glazed in Ochre's soft Luna glaze — speckled grey-white with warm clay showing through at the raw rim

  • Features a small central hole designed to hold an incense stick upright

  • Each dish features a unique hand-carved face

  • Measurements: roughly 15cm diameter, 4cm high. Please note, due to the handmade nature measurements may vary slightly

  • Sanded on the base so it sits flat and won't scratch any surface

  • Ethically and sustainably handmade in Australia

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

  • Jewellery and homewares made with love and awareness of its footprint on the world. My ethos has always been to create pieces considerately and ethically, respecting our beautiful planet, without causing it any further harm.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
