Ochre has finally added ‘Plates’ to the tableware range. These handy little Side Plates are perfect for a slice of toast, a piece of cake, or anything in between. Features a slightly raised rim for design and practical use.

  • Roughly 19cm in diameter, with a 2.5cm depth.

Glazed in an earthy speckle of deep red/brown and soft white. This glaze colouration comes from an iron reaction that happens in the kiln when firing, therefore no two pieces will ever be exactly the same… But that’s the beauty of them.

Ochre creates bespoke, handcrafted pieces that embody the beauty of their materiality.

  • Sanded where the clay is raw so they are smooth in texture, and wont scratch any surface they are placed on.

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
