How special is a handmade tea set? To me a teapot is a work of craftsmanship, there are many small details to be considered when making a teapot… How the handle feels, how the spout pours, how many cups does it fill. I hope this is the perfect tea set, as so much thought, testing and refining has gone into this piece.
Ochre’s tea sets have a beautiful earthy (but refined) feel, making the ritual around enjoying a warming tea so much more grounding.
Measurements + Materials:
Detailing a beautiful mossy green glaze, with a soft milky white.
Made by slab building making them lighter.
Teapot holds roughly 850ml liquid. Teacups hold roughly 250ml liquid
Teapot is roughly 24cm high, including handle. And 14cm wide. Teacups are roughly 9cm wide by 9cm high.
Smooth in texture.
