I have been dreaming up Ochre’s take on a dish with little ‘compartments,’ designed perhaps to beautifully display your treasured jewels or, alternatively, to serve as an elegant platter perfect for arranging olives, cheese, crackers, and a variety of delicious dips.

Finally, here it is a beautiful versatile pieces featuring four varied sized ‘wells’ for whatever it is you would like to use this dish for. Glazed in a soft satin white. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same… But that’s the beauty of them.

Ochre creates bespoke, handcrafted pieces that embody the beauty of their materiality.

  • Glazed in a soft satin white.

  • Roughly 38cm long and 25cm wide. As it’s an irregular share these measurements are taken from the longest and widest point.

  • Smooth in texture, sanded on the bottom so it wont scratch you table.

  • Ethically and sustainably handmade in Australia.

  • Ochre, brings together designer and maker, Lauren’s two passions; jewellery and ceramics. Creating bespoke, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty of their natural materials. From homewares to jewellery, each piece is uniquely designed to tell a story. 

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

  • Jewellery and homewares made with love and awareness of its footprint on the world. My ethos has always been to create pieces considerately and ethically, respecting our beautiful planet, without causing it any further harm.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!

  • Lauren has always tried to make sure in all decisions made, from the way pieces are crafted, to how a workshop event runs, the environment is at the core. This has led Lauren to partnering with One Tree Planted.
