In one of the most famous paintings of Aphrodite she stands in an open clam shell, floating on a beautiful aqua sea. So it’s only fitting to include this exquisite pale aqua colour in this collection. The Aqua Hoops add that touch of pale blue, detailing ceramic and gold-filled beads on a simple gold hoop.

  • Measuring at roughly 2.5cm in diameter.

  • The hoops are made of 14ct gold filled wire and handmade ceramic beads.

  • Gold-filled jewellery has 100 times more gold alloy than gold-plated jewellery, meaning the layer of gold is so much thicker and tarnish resistant and won’t turn your earlobes green!

    Ochre, brings together designer and maker, Lauren’s two passions; jewellery and ceramics. Creating bespoke, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty of their natural materials. From homewares to jewellery, each piece is uniquely designed to tell a story. 

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

  • Jewellery + homewares made with love and awareness of its footprint on the world. My ethos has always been to create pieces considerately and ethically, respecting our beautiful planet, without causing it any further harm.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
