Deep brown agate, banded almost to black, strung with warm amber ceramic beads I’ve shaped by hand. Agate is the steadying stone, a little reminder to feel grounded in your own hands, finished with 14ct gold filled details.

  • Clay & Stone Necklace: agate and amber ceramic beads with a small agate bead dangling from the clasp. Roughly 50cm in length and adjustable, as the gold clip can be fastened into any of the chain links.

  • Clay & Stone Bracelet: agate and amber ceramic beads with a fine gold filled chain and a single agate bead trailing from the clasp. Roughly 15 to 20cm in length and adjustable.

  • Clay & Stone Drop Earrings: three beads to each earring, agate and amber ceramic, on a delicate gold filled hook. Roughly 3cm drop length.

  • Gold filled jewellery has 100 times more gold alloy than gold plated jewellery, meaning the layer of gold is so much thicker, tarnish resistant and gentle on sensitive ears.

  • Ochre, brings together designer and maker, Lauren’s two passions; jewellery and ceramics. Creating bespoke, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty of their natural materials. From homewares to jewellery, each piece is uniquely designed to tell a story. 

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
