The two halves of this collection, worn together. Warm amber ceramic beads I’ve shaped by hand, paired with irregular citrine, the stone of sunlight, in pale, warm, pink and golden tones. Each bead is a slightly different shape and size, finished with 14ct gold filled details.

  • Clay & Sun Necklace: amber ceramic and citrine beads with a small citrine bead dangling from the clasp. Roughly 40 to 50cm in length and adjustable, as the gold clip can be fastened into any of the chain links.

  • Clay & Sun Bracelet: amber ceramic and citrine beads with a fine gold filled chain and a small citrine bead trailing from the clasp. Roughly 15 to 20cm in length and adjustable.

  • Clay & Sun Drop Stud Earrings: amber ceramic and citrine on a delicate gold filled stud. Roughly 5cm in length.

  • Gold filled jewellery has 100 times more gold alloy than gold plated jewellery, meaning the layer of gold is so much thicker and tarnish resistant.

  • Ochre, brings together designer and maker, Lauren’s two passions; jewellery and ceramics. Creating bespoke, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty of their natural materials. From homewares to jewellery, each piece is uniquely designed to tell a story. 

    Ochre also offer workshops where you can learn the art of ceramics and jewellery-making, allowing you to design and make your own custom pieces.

    Offing both workshops and products, you can either learn how to create your own custom pieces or take home something already beautifully designed and crafted.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
