Part of the In the Fields collection, the Long Grass Necklace is inspired by the way the grass moves in the fields below the Ochre studio — in long, unhurried rhythm. Slender tube-cut flower jade beads in sage, amber, forest green and soft celadon are separated by warm gold seed beads, creating a rhythm along the strand that feels like wind weaving through an open field. A single freshwater pearl appears like a glint of light catching the stream, soft and luminous against the earthen tones of the jade.

A beautifully considered handmade beaded necklace — perfect worn alone or layered as part of a nature-inspired stack.

  • Tube-cut flower jade beads in sage, amber, forest green and celadon

  • Gold seed bead spacers throughout

  • Finished with a gold-filled paperclip chain and clasp

  • Necklace length is adjustable. This beautiful necklace has an overall length of roughly 50cm, however the length is adjustable as the gold clip can be fastened into any of the chain links.

    All Ochre’s pieces are made by sourcing only Australian clay, and Australian recycled metals. Which are then mindfully crafted by me (Lauren) in my Northern Rivers, Mullumbimby studio. I am so proud to say my studio and kiln, (used for firing all Ochre’s ceramic pieces), run on the power of the sun!
