Ochre is coming to Sydney. Wine, jazz and table filled with beautiful beads for you to create with, hosted at the beautiful Art Department Studio in Woolloomooloo. Over two hours you will design and make 2-3 pieces of your own jewellery, anything from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets. I will be there the whole time helping with design and assembly, while we share wine, good music, and a completely over the top platter.
You will have access to a beautiful collection of pearls, handmade ceramic beads, colourful glass beads + high quality gold filled and sterling silver silver jewellery findings. Everything you need to create you very own custom jewellery. You will be taught jewellery basics… How to make use findings, string, wire + attach.

Clay, Wine + Cheese | Pottery Workshop near Byron Bay
Come and spend a Saturday afternoon making something with your hands. Clay, Wine + Cheese is a two-hour pottery workshop in my Mullumbimby studio, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay. You will hand-build your own ceramic piece — a mug, a vase, a bowl, whatever takes your fancy. While I teach you hand-building techniques, we share a lovely spread of local wine, and an over the top cheese platter.

These classes are for those who have ‘wanted to try pottery for ages!’ or maybe have ‘but all the way back in high school!!’ through to those who ‘have been to so many pottery classes recently… I’m obsessed!’ The intention of Ochre’s Pottery Classes is to have you feeling spoilt in every way!!! These hand building classes are relaxed, fun.... and just a little sassy! Hosted at my beautiful light filled studio in Mullumbimby studio, 10ish minutes from Byron Bay, paired with a delicious (completely over the top) selection of local drinks and food!!!

Tea Set Workshop | Make Your Own Teapot near Byron Bay
This workshop is about making something beautiful and considered. A tea set is technical and a complex piece to hand-build, but with step-by-step instruction for each detail and 3 hours to put it all together, you will not quite believe what you can achieve. In this beautiful morning workshop, I will walk you through every step: the pinch pot, coiling, the handle, the spout, the lid. And of course we have local coffee, tea and delicious pastries to enjoy while creating.
I feel so proud when someone completes their first teapot. It looks harder than it is, I promise. And by the end of the session you will not quite believe you achieved it.

This workshop is about making something beautiful and considered. A tea set is technical and a complex piece to hand-build, but with step-by-step instruction for each detail and 3 hours to put it all together, you will not quite believe what you can achieve. Come and spend a Saturday afternoon making something with your hands. Clay, Wine + Cheese is a two-hour pottery workshop in my Mullumbimby studio, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay. This workshop is about making something beautiful and considered. A tea set is technical and a complex piece to hand-build, but with step-by-step instruction for each detail and 3 hours to put it all together, you will not quite believe what you can achieve. In this beautiful morning workshop, I will walk you through every step: the pinch pot, coiling, the handle, the spout, the lid. And of course we have local coffee, tea and delicious pastries to enjoy while creating.

Once you come up the hill you will see the three houses on the left, we will be in the second house, ‘Clay’. Parking will be along the right side of the road, on the grass area, just across from the driveway.

Ochre is coming to McLaren Vale, hosted at the gorgeous Rare Earth Retreats — a white villa looking out over vineyards in South Australia's wine country, about 45 minutes south of Adelaide. Over two hours you will design and make 2-3 pieces of your own jewellery, anything from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets. I will be there the whole time helping with design and assembly, while we share wine, good music, and a completely over the top platter.

This workshop is about making something beautiful and considered. A tea set is technical and a complex piece to hand-build, but with step-by-step instruction for each detail and 3 hours to put it all together, you will not quite believe what you can achieve. In this beautiful morning workshop, I will walk you through every step: the pinch pot, coiling, the handle, the spout, the lid. I love this one. There is something about a morning workshop — the light in the studio, the smell of coffee, and pasties. My hope is that you leave feeling genuinely spoilt and proud of what you made.
Workshop Information
Location: Ochre Ceramics Studio, 44 Main Arm Rd, Mullumbimby a short drive from Byron Bay.
Time: Sundays 10am-12pm

Come and spend the most beautiful morning with me… Clay, Coffee (+tea) + pastries… delicious vegan + GF options by request.
You will be taught hand building basics… How to make a pinch pot, how to coil with clay, attach handles, legs etc. and how to make sure your pieces won’t blow up in the kiln! I promise you’ll leave having created a collection of beautiful pieces… a mug to a vase, a bowl to a platter! It is up to you to let your imagination take over.
My hope is that Ochre’s Pottery Workshops are the perfect date, celebration, treat to yourself, or extra special catch up with someone you love.
After our workshop I will then glaze + fire your beautiful creations for you to pick up a few weeks later. (Posting is also an option.)

Ochre’s workshops are a beautiful ‘entree’ into the world of clay. These classes are for those who have ‘wanted to try pottery for ages!’ or maybe have ‘but all the way back in high school!!’ through to those who ‘have been to so many pottery classes recently… I’m obsessed!’ The intention of Ochre’s Pottery Classes is to have you feeling spoilt in every way!!! These hand building classes are relaxed, fun.... and just a little sassy! Clay, Wine + Cheese | Pottery Workshop near Byron Bay
Come and spend a Saturday afternoon making something with your hands. Clay, Wine + Cheese is a two-hour pottery workshop in my Mullumbimby studio, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay. You will hand-build your own ceramic piece — a mug, a vase, a bowl, whatever takes your fancy. While I teach you hand-building techniques, we share a lovely spread of local wine, and an over the top cheese platter.
