Jewellery, Jazz + Wine | Jewellery Workshop in Sydney
Ochre is coming to Sydney. Wine, jazz and table filled with beautiful beads for you to create with, hosted at the beautiful Art Department Studio in Woolloomooloo. Over two hours you will design and make 2-3 pieces of your own jewellery, anything from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets. I will be there the whole time helping with design and assembly, while we share wine, good music, and a completely over the top platter.
You will have access to a beautiful collection of pearls, handmade ceramic beads, colourful glass beads + high quality gold filled and sterling silver silver jewellery findings. Everything you need to create you very own custom jewellery. You will be taught jewellery basics… How to make use findings, string, wire + attach.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Two hours of guided jewellery making — 2 to 3 finished pieces
You can make 2-3 pieces of jewellery anything from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets.
A beautiful selection of pearls, gemstones, ceramic beads, glass beads, and gold-filled and sterling silver findings
Natural wines and a delicious cheese and a over the top platter (vegan and gluten-free options available)
Jazzy music and a lovely atmosphere
All tools and materials provided
You take your pieces home on the night

Art Department Studio in Woolloomooloo is a beautiful, light-filled creative space — the kind of venue that makes you want to linger. It is a genuinely special place to spend an evening, and I could not be more pleased to host there.

Ochre’s beloved Jewellery, Jazz + Wine workshops are visiting Sydney. A glass of wine in hand, jazzy tunes and (my 10 year old self’s dream) a table of little ceramic dishes filled with the most beautiful pieces for you to create with. All those ceramic beads that I have made and ‘keep for a special project’ over the years will finally be available to you to create with.
