Jewellery, Jazz + Wine | Make Your Own Beaded Jewellery near Byron Bay
Wine, jazz, and a table covered in beautiful beads to create your very own custom pieces. Jewellery, Jazz + Wine is a two-hour jewellery workshop in my Mullumbimby studio, 15 minutes from Byron Bay. You will be taught jewellery basics… How to make use findings, string, wire + attach. And don’t worry, I will be helping with design and assembling each of your pieces. Using freshwater pearls, gemstones, handmade ceramic beads, colourful glass beads, and gold-filled and sterling silver findings, everything you need to create anything from earrings, bracelets, necklaces… even anklets.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Two hours of guided jewellery making — 2 to 3 finished pieces
You can make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets.
A beautiful selection of pearls, gemstones, ceramic beads, glass beads, and gold-filled and sterling silver findings
Natural wines and a delicious cheese and a over the top platter (vegan and gluten-free options available)

Workshop Information
Location: Ochre Ceramics Studio, 44 Main Arm Rd, Mullumbimby a short drive from Byron Bay.
Time: Friday’s 5-7pm or Saturday’s 3-5pm.
Cost: A$135 per person
I love watching people discover they can make something beautiful. The materials I use are really special — proper gold-filled findings, freshwater pearls, gemstones, handmade ceramic beads from my own studio. These are not craft-night beads. These are pieces you will actually wear..

Let me introduce a new workshop… Jewellery, Jazz + Wine. A glass of wine in hand, jazzy tunes and (my 10 year old self’s dream) a table of little ceramic dishes filled with the most beautiful pieces for you to create with. All those ceramic beads that I have made and ‘keep for a special project’ over the years will finally be available to you to create with.
You will have access to a stunning collection of pearls, handmade ceramic beads, colourful glass beads + high quality gold filled and sterling silver silver jewellery findings. Everything you need to create anything from earrings, bracelets, necklaces… even anklets.

How Much: $135 each
Includes more than a few glasses of delicious wine paired with a delicious cheese platter (vegan + Gf options by request) And two jewellery pieces.
You can add more piece on the day (if you get a little excited) for an extra $50 a piece.

The intention of Ochre’s workshop is to have you feeling spoilt in every way!!! These jewellery classes are relaxed, fun.... and just a little sassy! Hosted at the ‘very cool’ Alt House! Paired with a delicious (completely over the top) selection of local drinks and food!!!
