Breakfast Set Pottery Workshop, a collaboration with Ochre & Muckware Ceramics.
Ochre and Muckware have come together to offer a very special class, the ‘Breakfast Set Workshop’, Join us for a cosy morning of pottery, pastries, and bottomless coffee and tea. In this workshop we’ll guide you through techniques like slab building, slump moulding, and handle making, as you create your own matching plate, bowl, and mug or cup. And then (the best part) you'll get to choose from one of Muckware’s beautiful signature glazes; ‘Butter’ or ‘Liquorice’ to have your pieces finished in.

You'll get to choose from one of Muckware’s beautiful signature glazes to have your pieces finished in.
Enjoy locally-sourced treat. Sip coffee or herbal tea and snack on delicious Bread Social pastries (vegan and gluten-free options available).
After class, Grace will carefully glaze and fire your pieces for you to collect 4 weeks later, or we can post them out to you if needed.

Location: Ochre Ceramics Studio, 44 Main Arm Rd, Mullumbimby a short drive from Byron Bay.
Time: Sundays, 10am - 12pm
Cost: A$150 per person
All pieces are fired and glazed for you after the session, ready for pickup or optional shipping.

Ochre’s workshops are a beautiful ‘entree’ into the world of clay. These classes are for those who have ‘wanted to try pottery for ages!’ or maybe have ‘but all the way back in high school!!’ through to those who ‘have been to so many pottery classes recently… I’m obsessed!’
The intention of Ochre’s Pottery Classes is to have you feeling spoilt in every way!!! These hand building classes are relaxed, fun.... and just a little sassy! Hosted at my beautiful light filled studio in Mullumbimby studio, 10ish minutes from Byron Bay, paired with a delicious (completely over the top) selection of local drinks and food!!!
You will be taught hand building basics… How to make a pinch pot, how to coil with clay, attach handles, legs etc. and how to make sure your pieces won’t blow up in the kiln! I promise you’ll leave having created a collection of beautiful pieces.

After our workshop Grace from Muckware will then glaze + fire your beautiful creations for you to pick up a few weeks later.
Posting is also an option, if you don’t life locally.
